Sarah Benson’s flute playing interlaces this song. She is a sound healer, and I’m delighted that her healing music could be part of this recording.

I wrote it at the end of Mexico Circle Dance Camp, directed by Gwyn Peterdi, to encapsulate some of the spiritual truths we were putting into our closing ceremony. During the gathering, Helida helped us follow the Mayan calendar and pay attention to the time of seed formation.

This song is dedicated to Hope Jinishian who suggested a closing ceremony involving seeds and who has given much support for this recording.
